In August, Mikkeli will resound with music dedicated to the European values of freedom.
The high-quality concert offerings of the music festival are brought to you by the Saimaa Sinfonietta, the London Philharmonia Orchestra, the Vivo Symphony Orchestra, and numerous top musicians from both Finland and abroad. The music festival runs from August 3rd to 11th, but the accompanying program has already begun.

The festival’s opening ceremony, open to everyone, will be held at the Stella shopping center on August 3rd, starting at 1:30 PM. The concert will be hosted by the artistic director of the Mikkeli Music Festival, Erkki Lasonpalo.
