The Muslim Ramadan fast ends with Eid al-Fitr, a three‑day Eid celebration.
The end of Ramadan and the following Eid celebration are among the most significant moments of the year for many Muslims living in Mikkeli. In recent years, the Muslim community in Mikkeli has grown and become more diverse.
The Eid prayer gathering will be held at the Mikkeli Mosque in two sessions on Friday, 20 March. In addition, families and friends will celebrate in their homes with traditional and abundant dishes.
