International Mikkeli Day (IMD) will be held on Thursday, 5 November, from 12:00 to 16:00 at Tähtitori in Stella shopping centre.
This free public event brings together international networks, educational institutions, organisations, businesses and city services operating in Mikkeli, while showcasing the city’s international expertise and multicultural community.
Throughout the afternoon, visitors will enjoy presentations, speeches, music, singing and dance performances.
International Mikkeli Day offers an opportunity to discover the international and multicultural side of Mikkeli, meet local organisations and community members, and hear inspiring stories about studying, working, entrepreneurship and integration in South Savo.
