The City of Mikkeli is updating its English-language website. As part of the update, the city will also translate some of its announcements and news into English.
English-language announcements and news will be published at mikkeli.fi/en.
“We want to provide information about the city’s decision-making, possible changes, and, of course, events also in English. Our goal is to better serve our international residents. Previously, we have occasionally published press releases in English, but now we are establishing this practice more consistently,” says Heidi Hänninen, the City of Mikkeli’s Communications and Marketing Manager.
The City of Mikkeli is now also publishing more bilingual information on social media.
