Waltti is a nationwide public transport ticketing system, currently already in operation in many urban areas.
In the city of Mikkeli, Waltti tickets can be used on Mikkeli’s local buses, Moppe service traffic, and other Waltti rural transport services in the Mikkeli area.
The ticket price is determined by the passenger’s age and the number of zones the journey covers.

The Waltti card can also be used to travel between sub-regions:
- Mikkeli – Kangasniemi – Mikkeli
- Mikkeli-Kangasniemi – Kangasniemi – Kangasniemi – Mikkeli-Juva-Kaskii
- Mikkeli-Anttola-Puumala
- Mikkeli-Haukivuori (-Kantala)
- Mikkeli-Hirvensalmi – Kuitula, Suurisalmi
On the Juva – Sulkava, Juva – Savonlinna and Haukivuori – Pieksämäki routes, there are services where the Waltti ticket is not accepted as a means of payment.
Waltti tickets are also valid on market services on the following routes:
Mikkeli – Anttola and Mikkeli – Otava.
Waltti tickets are not valid on other market services operated by the operators themselves (Matkahuolto timetable service).
In addition to the price of the Waltti ticket, a card fee of €5 and a service fee of €2 (total €7) are charged during the first purchase at the Service Point.
For refunds and reimbursements under the general travel card and passenger terms, a service fee of €7 applies.

- The Waltti online store
- Waltti self-service machines
- Waltti buses
The reload service fee is €3 at Service Points and €4 on buses.
In the Waltti online service, there is no card or service fee (€0).
At self-service machines, the service fee is also €0.
The City of Mikkeli service point handles all matters related to the Waltti card.
The Service Point also serves as the lost property office for Mikkeli’s public transport, where you can inquire about lost items.
