The value ticket can be used as a payment method across all Waltti transport services nationwide.
However, the pricing of value ticket journeys varies by region based on the pricing policies of local authorities. With a value ticket, free transfers are allowed between zones within 90 minutes in Zone A and within two hours of the start of the first trip elsewhere.
The Waltti card’s value ticket remains valid as long as there is credit/money on the card. The value ticket can be either non-personal or personal, except for senior and student cards, which are always personal.
You can load your Waltti card with any amount between €5 and €150. The credit decreases as you use it.
The price of the ticket depends on the number of zones traveled, and the fare is deducted from the card according to the zones.
If traveling beyond the predefined zones of your ticket, inform the driver, who will make the correct deduction from the card. The credit on the travel card can be used to pay for multiple people belonging to the same customer group.
For senior and student value tickets, note that while you can use the card to pay for another accompanying person’s journey, the full adult value ticket price will be charged for all passengers, as the discount is a personal benefit.
