The school is located approximately five kilometres from the city centre, close to excellent outdoor and recreational opportunities.
The school’s mission is to build a learning pathway that supports the principle of lifelong learning, is based on the current curriculum, and is implemented in cooperation with families and the surrounding community.
At Rantakylä Comprehensive School, bilingual education is provided from Year 1 onwards in both Finnish and English.
Bilingual education (Finnish and English) will begin at Rantakylä Comprehensive School in August 2026.
